This site, F-Worlds, including the content and information contained herein, shall be governed by the laws of Portugal and the courts of Portugal shall be the place of jurisdiction. As such, the laws of Portugal shall govern all and any matters relating to the ownership and management of this site, including but not limited to the disclaimer, terms and conditions and submission forms and all other terms and contents on this site, and all or any matters relating to any internal links and other contacts included in the site.

The right to make changes to the site and the Disclaimer, Terms of Use, Policies or any other contents at any time with or without warning is expressly reserved by Carlos Simões.

Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy covers only "F-Worlds" and its Web site, located at worlds.cpsimoes.net. Any other Web site hosted at the www.cpsimoes.net domain may have its own privacy policy.

Providing Visitors with Anonymous Access

You can access our Web site home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data (defined in here as individually identifiable information, such as first and last name, a home or other physical address including street name and city or town or an email address)

Our Web site does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors, to post information to be accessed by others or to be tracked back by other visitors.

Automatic Collection of Information

We do not use cookies on our Web site. Cookies are a technology which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a Web site. A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it.

We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals.

Data Collection and Purpose Specification

We collect the personal data that you may volunteer by contacting us by email. Data collected here will be used for the the Web site administration and may include individually identifiable information such as name and email address. Such information may be archived for future reference by Carlos Simões. This information will never be sold to third parties.

We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations.

We collect the following information:

  • Click-stream data: A list of links or pages requested by a site visitor, and available through standard web server logs.
  • HTTP protocol elements: Web browser type, version and platform as well as referers, available through standard web server logs.
  • Search terms.

This data will be used for the following purposes:

  • Completion and support of the current activity.
  • Web site and system administration.
  • Research and development.
  • One-time tailoring.
  • Anonymous user analysis.

This data will be used by ourselves and our agents.

Children's Privacy

In order to comply with, amongst other international regulations, "The Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule" (COPPA), we never collect or maintain personal information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13. Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "personal information" is defined as individually identifiable information such as a first and last name, a home or other physical address including street name and city or town, an email address, a telephone number, a Social Security number, or persistent identifiers such as customer or processor serial numbers held in a cookie, where the identifier is associated with individually identifiable information.

Disclosure and Visitor Choice

We do not disclose your personal data to our subsidiaries or other organisations.

Confidentiality / Security

At the current time we do not give visitors to our Web site the option of using a secure transmission method to send us their personal data or contacting us.

We have implemented security policies and rules to protect the personal data that we have under our control from:

  • unauthorised access
  • improper use or disclosure
  • unauthorised modification

We cannot however be considered responsible by any stolen data resulting from a successful hacking attempt. All our agents, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors' personal data.

We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to State institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.

Access to the personal data we may hold about you.

You can ask us, by sending an email to f.worlds@gmail.com whether we are keeping personal data about you. Upon request, which you can indicate by sending an email to the previous address, we will provide you with a readable copy of the personal data which we may eventually keep about you, although we may before require proof of your identity.

We allow you to challenge the data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data erased, rectified or completed.

Privacy Compliance and Disputes

Our privacy policy is compliant with Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament. In addition to any rights which you may have at law, we provide you with the option of using APEX dispute resolution services subject to the conditions specified at its Web site.

Content Rating

This Web site's content is labelled by ICRA. All our pages are carrying a PICS label as issued by The Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) using its own label generator. The following items were included in the label:

  • Nudity. Male genitals, female genitals, female breasts: nudity appears in an artistic context and is suitable for young children.
  • Violence. Deliberate damage to objects.
