Some notes about the test:

  1. For each question there is only one correct answer. Correction of the test will not enumerate the questions correctly answered and the score will be as simple as "number of correct answers / total number of questions".
  2. Although the author is available for answering any question or doubt about some language detail or something similar in any question formulation or wording (up to a limit of 10), there will be no feedback to any message asking for the correctness of a given answer or reasoning.
  3. There is no time limit for the resolution of this test.
  4. It is strictly forbidden to discuss the questions with anyone else during the test resolution and answers should not be in any way shared publicly.
  5. It is allowed the use an electronic non-programmable calculator (for addition, subtraction, multiplication or division).
  6. Send answers to: tdm@cpsimoes.net

"Every man ought to be inquisitive through every hour of his great adventure down to the day when he shall no longer cast a shadow in the sun. For if he dies without a question in his heart, what excuse is there for his continuance?"

Frank Moore Colby, The Colby Essays
